Give your kids aged 2.5-5 years old, a fun first experience in sport by exploring the fundamental techniques of basketball, soccer, AFL, tennis, hockey, cricket, teeball and rugby. Each class also includes fundamental movement skills explored through a variety of obstacles, games and creative play.
Good Sports is designed to give your children and families a stepping stone into community sporting clubs. The belonging, being and becoming framework are at the heart of the classes to allow kids to explore a variety of sports and facilitate them exploring it further in the community. We have developed a curriculum using researched government resources from Australia, Ireland, Canada and New Zealand ensuring our teaching is age appropriate and up to date.
Sport classes are a great opportunity for children to develop teamwork skills and achieve success through repeated efforts and perserverance. Most importantly the classes are designed for kids to have fun being active. All of the equipment used is designed to maximise the use of space and minimise set up time. This ensures that your kids spend more time participating and less time waiting.
These classes are 30-40 minutes in length and occur on an ongoing weekly or fortnightly basis. Want to find out more? Discover how the Early Years Learning Framework is integrated or enquire below.
